Ok after disecting my now crappy non working laptop for spares I am left wondering about the screen. Its a good little screena dn very clear etc, and I am wondering if the technology is available to make the small strip of wires that connect it fit into something for a standard computer to use?

laptop screens usually use proprietary connectors that are incompatible with normal whatsits.
hmm so its not extractable? with a chisel? I have gone on a google fest forum trawling and the general consensus is that the price to make a laptop screen work on a pc isnt worth it, and just keep the laptop. Ofcourse my laptop is broken so thats not really an option. will be such a waste
