Laptop Spec Check, What do you think

Hi guys,
What do you think of the spec below for a laptop, its am IBM Thinkpad T43 i can get it for around £500.

Processor: Intel Pentium M 1.86 (2MB Cache)
512 mb ram but i will upgrade to at least 1Gb
40 GB HDD
DVD-RW
14.1" screen
ATI Mobility Radeon Card 128mb
Integrated wireless adaptor
10/100/1000 wired network

All in all i think its a half decent laptop but i wanted to get your views and opinions on it first before i commit to anything.

screen size is not a concern to me but i suppose a 15" screen would be better for dvd's etc where is that acer laptop from?
