Is this a good spec for the price ? im going to be using it for just about everything, including new games. Im not sure about the processor and/or graphics cards as i dont have much knowledge on laptops atm, i have seen a few with ATI x700 graphics cards, are these better than the GeForce 7600 GO GPUs ?. Look forward to some replies :D

It is a very nice spec and the 7600's are high end cards, which ive heard..not sure if this one will be are better than all/most 6800 GT's.

What games would you want to play on it?

it should run that nicely, the only thing is that the processor could be a bit faster.. but other than that

an amazing laptop for the price :)

basically the same as my girlfirends laptop, however u have a much better gfx card, she has a x800 mobile card or summit like tht.

Fast as anything mate, would fully reccomend it, however havnt tried it for gaming as i prefer my pc's for that, hence why i have just ordered a conroe system :P
 
hehe i take it 4kg is heavy for a laptop? im used to lifting big weights at gym so im not sure it will bother me :P, i just want a really high spec laptop to do just about everything ... i been told by someone to wait and see what these new laptops are like with conroe chips, reckon i should do this? or buy the above spec laptop ?
 
i cant pm for some reason, not enough posts!! It is just based on something i have read from this forum. I am sure it is the same Co. similar to a net!! and the spec is spot on. I too am looking for a reasonable high spec lappy and it seemed to get good reviews here. so i dont know what to do either m8!
 
hehe its a lot of money and the more i think about it, i might just wait to see what comes out in a few months time ... this Laptop will be for college but i wanna be able to do everything with it also, ie playing games etc when going to mates house after college or whatever
 
hehe its the same with everything i do, i take forever to decide .. i want a tatoo but i would spend all day picking one out but i suppose a tatoo is different to a computer as its with you for life! (boots Pentium 75 in the corner)
