Hello,
I need to buy a new laptop for work and would like some advice on the spec I should look for please.
I work freelance, project management and administrative work. Apart from office o use online tools generally, nothing downloaded. I use different profiles on my laptop for each client/contract. Sometimes they will want me to use a chosen storage client like Dropbox or OneDrive etc. Each client tends to have its own Microsoft outlook account and uses MS teams which is what led me to create different laptop profiles. I don't travel often but do want something easy to carry when I do take it out. I use a monitor when working at home so massive screen not needed. I want something with good security.
I am finding my laptop's struggling lately with the three profiles which I'm usually logged into during the day and switching between frequently. I got an Acer swift 4 years ago when I didn't really know what I'd be doing.
My aim was to spend no more than £1000 but suspect that's unrealistic and I need to spend more. Max would be £2000, ideally not more.
Any advice on spec I should consider if valued.
Thank you in advance!
