Hi guys im looking for a good laptop ssd around about 100-150 pound, its for the wifes laptop to speed things up a bit, its a pretty decent laptop already actually at least for what shes useing it for, work, LoL and guildwars2 im thinking this one. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-034-CR its to go inside an HP pavilion 15

As far as I'm aware any SSD will fit a laptop as they are all the same size as your standard laptop HDD.
The Samsung 840 Evo is highly recommended as the best bang for buck. However its good to see crucial have knocked up their write speeds with the new drives.
I would either go Samsung > Crucial > Intel in that order depending on whats on offer. Not often you can pick up intel ones cheap but the new models are worth it if your after the performance.
