HP Easynote, about 3-4 yr old.

Was working fine, turned its self off (instantly as if power had been pulled)
Wont power back on, No noises from the fans not even a blip (dead mobo/psu?)

I've removed the battery held the power button for 10 seconds and connected just the power cable to no avail. When the battery is connected and plugged in the charging LED doesnt come in.

Any suggestions before I open her up and investigate? (Not that I really know what im looking at inside lappys :D )

No I havn't mate, How do I test it? I've only the 1 Laptop.
It was fully charged at the time with the battery in (running on mains) it still wont boot with just the battery in and no mains.

Sounds like a dead mobo to me. :(

You've done well to get past 3 years in my experience.

Some laptops are lucky to last 18 months - 2 years.

I hope someone can find a miracle solution for you :)
