Hi all,
I've decided it's time I purchased myself a laptop. My PC is a games, machine and I would really like a portable development system, so a laptop it is.
I don't want to spend a great deal on one, wouldn't even mind a second hand one. What sort of specs should I be looking for? Will be used for web development, vb.net, python, flash and learning whatever else takes my fancy. Also a bit of graphics work using gimp/photoshop. Maybe, some mapping for HL1.
I figure a big HDD is a must, or an external one I can carry with me.
Any brands/models worth looking at? Any to desperately avoid?
I know nothing about laptops so please, enlighten me
