Hi,
A laptop at work will not syncronise on log off which is stressing me out a bit because it's the CEO's >< I have redirected the "My Documents" to one of our servers and the redirect/sync'ed icon (two blue arrows) appears on all the files eventually. If i log onto the laptop offline, i can go to the "My Documents" and ammend files, put new files in and when i do put a network cable in, the files will sync perfectly.
The problem i have is that if i am on the network, i then create a folder and put several files in there, after about 1 minute all the files will have the redirect/sync icons, so i log off and then log back on with the network cable out. I then go to the "My Documents" folder and my folder has disapeared.
I think i haven't given it enough time to properly sync so it's not showing me the folder but in the Tools - Folder Options - Offline Files - I have both of the sync when logging on/out ticked, but it never opens the sync window when i log off.
Is there any way to manually force the "My Documents" folder to sync when i want it to, or is there some reason it won't sync to logging off?
Thanks in advance
Viks
