So I've re-pasted my laptop CPU/GPU.
I ran Prime 95 on the top option for maximum heat I think it was, for 15 minutes.
It seems I've improved temperatures by around 10 degrees. My GPU is running around 1800MHz and 4800MHz on the ram, so 800MHz overclock.
The temperatures reached 85 degrees max, I then ran Shadow of the Tomb Raider benchmark, noticed a 4fps boost and temperatures reached a max of 80 degrees with the GPU overclocks.
I'm using thermal grizzly compound, does those temperatures sound reasonable? The heatpipe copper is very rough though surely that can't help, plenty of micro cavities on the surface?
