Laptop to replace old PC

Hiya,

I have a budget of around £500 for a new laptop/desktop replacement

My current machine is a AMD Athlon X2 3800+ with 2gb Ram (PC3200) running a Radeon X1800GTO

Would that kind of budget get me a laptop good enough to be more powerful than my old system?

My vote would be the Acer Aspire 6930G, various specs available from £400 - £600.
