Laptop troubles

Hey guys,
so I bought this new laptop from *** ELSEWHERE ***. I finally booted it up today and everything was going fine, but when I was logging into my Microsoft account it started to process and for almost an hour it's said "Just a moment..." with a swirling icon.
I don't know what to do, any advice/help?
