Laptop under £1000

Need a new laptop that will be under 16", and be able to play most games on a high setting, 8 Gigabytes of RAM, have an SSD or HDD space is not really important as long as it is fairly fast! Will also be doing lots of video editing and programming. i7 or i5 as many task will need to utilizes the treads!

Depending just how much power you need, could look at the gigabyte u2442n. Its got a gt640m and ssd in it. about 900 quid with good battery life and portability.
