laptop upgrade help

I recently bought myself a HP 2710p tablet pc for my university needs. It is running windows Vista business x64 on a Core2duo 1.2 with 1 gig of ram and 80 gig HDD. I would like to upgrade to 4 gig Ram. Is there anything I Should know about laptop Ram and whit to be aware of? can Someone recommend me a 2x2 gig set.

Nothing special really, just a standard DDR2 5300mhz set will do you. The Corsair that OcUK sell should work fine.

Just make sure you know how to get to all of the memory first, I have just embarked on upgrading the memory on my HP 8710P, I have now found that only 1 of the 2 memory modules is accessible from the panel on the bottom of the laptop, the other requires the keyboard be removed to access it, which let me tell you, is easier said than done with these HP business machines. I have managed to do it now but it took some serious tinkering, shaking and prying etc ...which with a £1400 machine like mine isn't something you want to be doing too much of.
