Laptop upgrade?

Hi

Im looking to upgrade A few part's in my dad's laptop, processor and ram If possible, as It's very slow.

Spec's of the beast are:
Mobile AMD sempron 3400+, Keene
Socket s1 (638)
Qimonda 512mb PC2-5300
Mobo = Quanta 30B7


Is It possible If so could you list A few part's.

Adding RAM isn't a problem, forget CPU. For the vost of a new laptop, I'd just buy a new one.
