You might want to check out the dell outlet before you order if you don't mind a refurbished model, I got my studio with those exact specs (minus the full HD screen) for £449.98 so it might be worth a look. you could also look at the studio xps line from the outlet.

If you want to buy new though, that's a great spec, and if you have any questions about the studio 15 feel free to ask :)

Upgrade the hard drive to an SSD - should breathe a bit more life into it. Looks a good spec all the same!

Yeah, keep the existing - good spec.

Options for SSD are dependent on the amount of space you want - Crucial seems a safe choice 64GB, 128GB or 256GB. Stick Windows 7 on it and it will keep you going for a good while longer.

Thats a lot pounds for single Hard Drive :eek::eek:

I could buy x 2 Seagate Momentus 7200.4 160GB 7200RPM SATA-II 16MB Cache and still have change to take the wife out lol lol

I guess you could RAID your two drives - but even the 64GB SSD is a worth upgrade (depending on the space you need). Read the reviews - it saved me upgrading my laptop (well, for a bit longer :D) - would be my first choice laptop upgrade after RAM.
