Gonna hit the buy button on a Samsung 530u3b Ultrabook, I'm a little worried about either breaking it or having quite an expensive laptop "stop working" after 2 years.

I've never damaged any electrical equipment before but to me its quite a wedge to spend on something that could be easily damaged.

Would anyone recommend going for an extended warranty? Qquaretrade offer 3 years full accidental cover for 180.

Worth doing?

£180 for 3 years full cover is damned good, great piece of mind also for a 700+ laptop/ultra book.

Regards.

That's what I thought.

Rang Tesco and my house insurance will cover accidental damage for a laptop up to £2000 but my excess is £200

Read the t&cs and you can cancel the warranty at any point for a refund or transfer it if I decide to sell it.

Thanks for that - its made me feel much happier about forking out that much for piece of mind.
