The performance of my laptop's wireless connection seems to be really bad. It is quite often cutting out or just not loading any web pages, yet connected.

It's running Vista, and it's an Acer Aspire 5920G.

I've tried turning IPv6 off, and reinstalling wireless drivers without any luck. It seems to be fine when using Ethernet.

Thanks for any help

Are you using Vista to set up your wifi connection or the manufactures program?
(I used Intel(R) PROset instead of the dell/windows utilities).

Before doing that i'd see if your laptop is like that on other routers. it may just be your router and not your laptop with the issue.

Other laptops and my PC connected via Ethernet work without fault.

I've tried using Vista's wireless management, and Acer's eNet (or whatever they call it) without any difference.
