If your using WiFi why are you playing bout with ICS and the firewall? If you have a router then the firewall could be turned off. All you do is connect the wireless using the network connections and if you have encryption on the network just add your network key. Should be as simple as that. If you can't do it get someone around that does WiFi or if you no someone.

you using your pc as a router or have you got a router

check that mac filtering isnt on on the wireless ?

or are you using remote desktop ?? ???
