Greetings, I have a boggle of an issue i can't figure out.
I got a new Dell XPS, it uses the Intel wifi link 1000 BGN adapter.
I can get it connect fine wired and also wirelessly with no encryption at all on my router (Buffalo WHRG125), but as soon as I enable WEP, WPA/2 with AES or TPIK, it will just not connect, it asks for the key but just fails to connect after that.

So what are typical cuases of a adapter just not accepting encryption of any kind, and what would be potential solutions?

Many thanks, Neural.

Updating the driver for the wireless card on an older laptop helped me get that issue resolved. If not try removing and reinstalling the driver.

Indeed, actually forgot to mention what i had tried already:
I got new drivers, made no difference, uninstalled it from device manager and let windows reinstall it, no luck there either, created a new connection without luck either.
My fone and ps3 connects wireless with encryption fine so i know its not the router.

I was thinking the homegroup thing may effect it but im not sure about that, reakky dunno what the hells cuasing it
