laptop wireless card

Hi guys,

Fathers brought home a laptop tonight and wants a wireless card for it, now I dont really know much about them as I've always been desktop based.

It has two slots on the side which i presume would house a PCMCIA card?

Now we have a Netgear DG834G router and would like a card that will work in conjunction with this and within a budget of say £30?

Any ideas which are best?

What laptop is it - most laptops less than about 5 years old will have a built in wireless card.
