Not sure what the technical term is, but essentially im after the 2080 full edition not Max-Q.
Now are prices expected to drop on these anytime soon, everything seems north of 2000, if not 2500 which im not sure is great value with the 3800 or whatever it will be called due to drop sooner rather than later.
So anyone think the price will fall and/or how much worse of is the 2070 Super than the 2080? And if I do go 2070 Super, is the difference from the 1070 (full fat) in a laptop worth it?
Running a MSI Dominator with a 1070 8GB card, i7 7700 or something and 16GB Ram.
Obviously the latter can be massively improved on, plus id love a bigger SSD... but the price clearly is dictated by the GPU and if im not getting the relevant gains, would I be wise just to hold off.
Black Friday is my hope here, ill bite at sub 2k I think.... 1800 interests me, but will the 2080 ever dip that low? 2070s are in around 1700 by the looks of it, seems to be a huge gap in the prices.
Any thoughts to help?
