I’m looking to upgrade my laptop to one with a bigger screen (17/18 inch) and with a better CPU. I mainly play WoW on my current laptop, which is suffering FPS drops in certain hectic moments.
Looking into this it seems although I have a “ok” CPU (Ryzen 7 5800h) it doesn’t have a very big L3 cache, which benefits WoW greatly. Supposedly.
My budget is approx £2k or below. I currently have a 3070 so wouldn’t want anything worse than that.
I have been looking at the X3D CPUs but laptop choice are severely limited for those it seems. I’m sure there is another decent cpu with a good L3 cache though but my knowledge isn’t great
