Laptop with decent speakers?

Hi all,

Use other forums but as the PC go to person in the family (I don't have aclue I ask you guys) I've been asked to help buy a laptop for my cousin.

Requirements are:
Be used for work so microsoft office
NOT a netbook.
Play music and so speakers that are actually audible without headphones would be great. (My laptop is **** for this, but its old)
Play DVD's (so 15.6 inch screen should be fine unless a cheap 17 inch)
Running windows 7
Pick up a decent Wi_FI from a range, as works in racing yard so not always in an office.
Memory prob about 320GB+ (500+ better)


Budget - its a birthday present so family prob don't want to spend too much.


Thanks for advance help, most budget laptops seem to cover this, but wanted feedback on what you guys know and trust.

You have probably seen around the internet about the basic options and since I don't own one in the right price range i wont comment on that.

However look out for a trinity based designs, they should be hitting soon and offer good all around performance at a nice price.
