I bought a M4 64GB SSD for my laptop:

Dell XPS 17" (L702X)
Intel i7 (2500 i think)
4GB RAM
(Port 1)500GB HDD with OS still installed. Has a small partition for Linux
(Port 0) SSD
nVid 550m

I put Win7 on a USB to install x64 verson. It installs fine and detects the SSD fine. It reboots but after the first screen (before BIOS etc) it just stays black with a flashing "_" in the top left.

I've double checked bios and the HDD's are in the correct boot order. It's also in AHCI if that makes a difference. I also speficied boot order at start up by spamming F12 and chose the SSD.

So I can't really figure this out. I've formatted and installed the the OS onto the SSD about 4 times and nothing changes. Anyone got any suggestions?
