I was wondering if any of you guys/girls on here could lend me a hand and help me fix my laptop. This problem has only just occurred and I cant see anyway of getting around it.

The Problem:

My laptop booted fine, then it randomly blue screened(which its been doing for a while) after letting it do its thing and reboooting, it shows the DELL inspiron logo, and a loading bar loads up. Then from there it's just a blank screen with the mouse pointer and it wont do anything else.

The firs time it did it, I shut it down and an option for system recovery occurred so I clicked it and went through the process to achieve nothing ;(

And I cant get that system recovery option back again, neither does it work when i boot in safe mode, still get the same black screen with mouse pointer.

The power indicators are on and the screen is slightly lit, but I don't get any response. I've tried looking around on google but cant find anything with the exact problem.

Any comments/help will be greatly appreciated.

ALSO-------------

If I can get this working again, Is there a setting where i can format the hard drive so it is back to factory settings, Just like when i first bought it? Because there's a lot of crap on here ^_^ and It's rarely used now that I don't use the laptop anymore.

Thanks again.

Honestly I didnt think anyone would care, but for you. ;]

I didn't find the problem in the end, but i manage to reset it back to factory settings and its booted perfectly since.

( I didn't mind losing the data as I don't store anything on it, and it's main purpose is for internet browsing only.)
