Laptop Won't POST

A couple of days ago my PB Easynote laptop started failing to post. Before that it was working completely fine. Basically all that happens when I turn it on is the power LED lights up and the CPU fan starts. I've got inside, unhooked the hdd, cd drive, RAM and wlan card and the problem still continues. I've done many a Google search and tried all the things I can find (looking for knocked\damaged resistors, booting up without the CMOS battery in) and I'm still none the wiser.

If you've any idea to determine what's faulty or how to fix it it'd be very much appreciated.

well it wont post without any ram unless it has on board memory very rare these days , the usual case with laptops is swap test the memory and cpu with known working ones if they dont work then its a mainboard fault.
