Laptop XP question

Hello,

I'm about to do a clean install of XP pro on my girlfriends Toshiba laptop.

It has the licence key sticker on the bottom of the laptop.

Question is,

Will any XP pro disk work privided i use the genuine key?

Does it say OEM on the sticker? if so then its probable that a retail copy of xp pro wont accept that license code.

Your best bet is a pre SP1 disk, as during SP1 they added a lot of oem codes to the banned list ( due to rampant piracy and codes being abused ).

Being a tosh laptop im pretty certain its going to need an xp OEM disk to install and use that code with no problems.
