Hi everyone,

I've been looking to get a light, portable laptop that still packs some half-decent gaming muscle.

I'm open to all suggestions but the new line of laptops with Nvidia's optimus technology sounds good.

I will be using it to play videos/music on the underground, remote working and hopefully some WoW along with other laptop-friendly games.

Basic specs I've been looking for are:

13-14"
SSD
Nvidia GPU

Light as possible + Biggest Battery possible

Whether this is possible currently, or available in the UK is something I'm having great trouble finding out.

You're help is greatly appreciated!

How about the HP envy 13", i hear its quite good in games but also quite expensive.

Maybe the new Macbook pro 13", im not sure on the new graphics card performance but it might be good, worth looking into.

The envy/vaio seem to be a bit expensive for what i want to do and the smaller Macbook Pro's have not been updated with the new Intel CPUs and do not use the optimus technology.

I've heard Apple developed their own switching technology and it doesnt work properly!!

Graphics cards aren't my strongest point, but from scouting around for myself, I'd recommend either HP DM3-1111sa or Acer Aspire 4820T for approx. £500 & £600 respectively
