Laptops and the sun

I was wondering what methods people are using to reduce the screen-glare when using their laptops outside in the sunshine.

You can get filters and hoods but the only way to really avoid glare is to avoid the light source that's causing glare. There's no magic solution, light on screen = glare.

Don't get one with a shiny screen would be a good start
