Hi guys, figured this would be the best place to post this.

I'm looking at getting rid of this lump of desktop computer and replacing it with a laptop. I no longer play power hungry 3D games and merely use the computer for browsing the internet, uni and Football Manager (:p)

Therefore, I've been looking at getting a laptop for ease of moving it to and from uni and so I'm not locked in my room all the time.

Basically, I'm unsure as to whether laptops running Windows Vista will be competent at running Football Manager with the following specs:

AMD Turion64 X2 TL56
2048MB 533MHz DDR2 SDRAM (2x1024)
256MB ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 HyperMemory

These are the kind of specs I'm looking at. The only problem is 2gb memory seems to result in a huge hike in price so would it be possible to get away with a 1gb set up? I always seem to read that 2gb is really required for Vista yet in some reviews I've read this is rubbish?

Any feedback greatly appreciated, thanks.

For Home Premium, 1Gb is probably enough for the things you will be doing. Right now I've got it running with 512Mb and it is clunky but reasonable. It's probably preferable to go for a lower spec processor and try to get as much memory as possible, I'd say.
