Laptops with bright screens outside

For those that use a laptop outside. What laptop do you use.
Pretty much all mine are useless outside or in a bright room.

I suspect the Mac books all do well outside. They all seem to have bright screens.
The windows laptops, even where say they are bright tend not be that bright when tested.

Anyway, one point about Apple: aren't all their screens glossy? That would make them an instant dismiss for me (one of the reasons I only ever but used business class laptops - ThinkPads, EliteBooks, Latitudes, etc. - is because they offer matt screens).

Can't see how a glossy screen - no matter how bright - would ever be usable outside.
 
Good point about the matt screens.

Often find the one they review I can't actually buy the same model number or screen as the seller, doesn't list the exact screen.
