2 days ago the 2 laptops in my house stopped connecting to the wireless router, it just says ' Limited connectivity'. The other 3 computers in the house all connect fine, these are all running xp while the laptops are vista. Using a BT Home Hub (rubbish i know). Tried resetting the router but dont have the username and password, tried all the usual admin admin etc but no luck. Really not sure what else to try or what is wrong. It was all working perfectly a couple days ago. No updates in firmware/software for router or laptops recently. Seems to just have happened out of the blue. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks rhys

ARe you really sure windows update has not 'upgraded' your wireless drivers. It can install the wrong ones or select the wrong security type.

Vista also seems prone to changing the network type, if you look for the network map (not in front of a vista pc at the moment) does its show your router etc and can you click and chagne the connection types

I thought eh bt hubds ahd a sticker on them showing the default settings.

A few things to note, BT have been pushing out the firmware to homehubs recently for the BT Open Zone compatability - this caused us no end of troubles at work... It's not a choice firmware upgrade your hub would have done it on its own.

So be 100% sure that it hasn't updated firmware before ruling that out.

Have you tried getting the MAC Addresses for the laptops and adding those into the BT Router as allowed devices?
