Howdy, im thinking of getting a laptop. i have about 2k to spend. Was looking into alienware and dell. i know dell own alienware. just wanted to see what you guys suggest?

well i want it to be for a lot of things. i do a lot of 3d work on my uni course.

the reason why i want to spend quite abit is because i dont want to be buying another in a year or two.

looked at the G series. not really that good.

which is the best gfx card out of these two? NVIDIA® Geforce 8600M GT or New Nvidia GeForce 8700M GT 512MB (DX10)? is it worth the extra 600 for that card?

well its not just for the gfx's. its also for the OS installed. Question? if i already own Vista, can i install it on another computer/laptop? Just want to know because you need to register online.
