Large disparity between CPU temp and individual core temps

Hi,

On my Q6600 (O'C'ed to 3.2GHz on 1.3v) there is a large temperature difference between the CPU temp and the individual core temps. Typical idle temps are 39 degrees whilst each core is at 49 degrees.

Is this normal? What differences are others getting?

The core temps are usually 10-15c higher than the CPU temp.

Thanks - Which temp should I be worried about? The core temp or the cores' temps?

The 4 individual core temps, since their sensors are on the actual cores.
