Hey guys :)

Looking for a large gaming case that can either house water-cooling or extreme air cooling. Budget is not limited.

So far been looking at:

Corsair Obsidian 650D / 800D Gaming Midi Tower
Cooler Master Cosmos II Ultra Tower Case
Bitfenix Colossus Venom Green LED Big Tower Windowed Case

I am after good use of space, as much fans as possible :D and general aesthetics. Like I said I dont care what price so it can be £50 - £500 as long as its nice.

Cheers :)

I have to say I absolutely hate that Silversone and wouldn't use it if it was even free!
I'll look at the 810 though.

Neither of those two cases do it for me... :/

Without giving an explanation as to why, it's hard to help...

They're both large gaming cases, capable of doing well with air or watercooling... in a 50-500 budget range, can take a large number of fans...

They're slightly more sleek on the aesthetics, but that's kind of in line with the 650/800D

Its a few things:

1. They have a lot of space but unlike the cases like the 800D its not very balanced size wise.

2. I like the cases which have nice nifty feautres such as the HDD fans for 810 which can go up and down etc

3. Cable management, plenty of holes but also so you cant see the cables behind the holes.

4. PSU, I quite like the idea of the PSU either having its own area bit like the 800D and being far enough away from a SLI'd graphics card

Cooler Master HAF X? I've had no problems what-so-ever with it so far, works like a charm. Love huge fans and the amount of them you can have.

Yes I like the HAF-X, not as good a cable management but the way the PSU is done is nice. Lian Li I like them but do they do any non aluminium ones?

Fractal xl or Xigmatek elysium gets my vote for a big case, don't know why you want a ''gaming case''?(what makes it a gaming case as such?)

The point was I dont just want a big case like the Xigmatek but something more like the 800D or 810.

Nope, all their cases are all Aluminium... Lancool are their steel division, but they don't do massive versions...

Why don't you want an alu case?

Cosmos II

Corsair 800D

Corsair 650D

Did you literally copy these out of the OP?

CM ATCS840 nice for aircooling and can fit a 360 rad in the top. If I was going watercooling currently i would go for the NZXT Switch 810 it seems to be the best bang for buck out there at the moment.
