710 is a good buy so can't go wrong. Only reason I'd look at something else would be if you also need the capability to run it on battery mode and not just plugged in.

Cheers buddy. No, no need to be on battery mode. Or non that I can think of currently as the garden has power for the summer.

I'll have a look at alternatives but the 710 is the winner so far

Nice.. looking at one of these .. the alternative is Sony XV800 which I think looks better.

Sound wise I believe the JBL goes lower.. so that’ll probably sway me.
