Large Image

Hi,
I have a graphic whcih is 4300 x 3300 pixels which I want to print. I don;t want it resized. How can I use the windows photo gallery to print this image but to keep it at it's orginal size and print it over multiple pages so I can just align them?

Hmmm thats a tricky one. I don't think there is the ability to do this in Photo Gallery. I do it in photoshop and just extract A4 sections from the image and print them individually, bit laborious but works.

Open it using Windows Picture and Fax Viewer (comes with windows), then print from this application, it will re-size the picture to A4 page for you.

Thats not what he is looking for. He wants the full image scaled at 1:1 comprised of numerous A4 sheets.

Photoshop should do it.

I have this funny memory that if you stick a picture in MSWord which overlaps the page it prints it out on multiple pages...

I do this every year with my club photo - gets printed out on multiple sheets to make up one big print about 2m x 1m to be stuck on the wall for everyone to see

I use paintshoppro and manually slice the picture up into A4 sized pieces. Doing it manually means I can pick where I want the joins so I can, for example, avoid cutting peoples faces in half and put joins where it will be easy to align pieces.
