Hello

I wonder is anybody knows of a gaming/104 keyboard for visually impaired users.

I do have a VI keyboard (yellow with with large black letters)

however it is awful for gaming and not 104 layout. I currently use a Logitech access keyboard (YSR34) which is the perfect feel keyboard but it is small letter (not good for typing)

I am asking this because there does not seem to be (other than niche suppliers) that do large letter keyboards of any quality and I still game. My sight is however going down the toilet and I now need to find a good quality keyboard if I am to continue gaming.

Thank you

Is the gaming your major concern? if so have you thought about something like a Razer Orbweaver Elite Mechanical Gaming Keypad, everything is easy at your fingers and doesn't really need you to look at it.

Also you could couple that with a Razer Naga or something with a lot of buttons on the side that can have macros to whatever you use most.

No TBH, I do a lot of games that only require WASD for the most part but I really want a 50g mechanical keyboard that I can use everyday. It takes me ages to type anything ATM.
My PC is my life line.

I have looked at the visually impaired keyboards out there but I am not confident they will do the job. Also finding a 105 key one is not easy and can be very expensive for a poor keyboard. The one I own is awful. even after spraying with furniture polish its still rubbish.

Although my eyesight is ok I use a keyboard in a dim lit area and in end I brought some stick on letters from blind shop - similar to these

You keep your keyboard and can see letters - it's doesn't look professional but it works..

I have just bought a Ducky Zero blue back lit keyboard and can say I am really pleased with it - letters are reasonably big and I can see them very well - the back lighting is actually too strong on full but you can lower the brightness and intensity.

Cheers Dave, thought I had posted a reply...

Looking at the stickers now. However I will have to wait till little S gets back from Uni to fit them as it will be a ham-fisted mess if I do it.

Looked at the Ducky Zero, the letters do look a bit bigger than standard, so might think about that as well. The reviews also look good, just price for me again.

Thanks again for the reply. :)
