I would like a big monitor, of reasonable quality, that will also double up as a Netflix/youtube/DVD display for a living room.
I'd only play wreckfest or Fallout 4 the odd time really, those days of Counter-Striking are long gone. I will upgrade the GPU later with a Zen2 upgrade, so overspeccing is not an issue.
With the furthest seat about 15 feet away, I guess 32" might be just about big enough.

Feature - My opinion
4K - Yes
1440 - Maybe
Curved - No
Ultra Widescreen - No
Wide viewing angle - Yes
Freesync - Yes
Gsync - No
NoSync - Maybe
Speakers - Maybe
60Hz - Ok

These are the montiors that have my interest but I can't decide on which to choose or if I am missing out other good options. I guess around the £600 mark will be my limit.

Given your requirements TV is best way to go, currently running a Samsung RU7400 and it offers a great PC experience. 40/43 is the point where you don't need to use windows scaling at 4K, there are still applications that don't like anything apart from 1:1 scaling.

yup a tv will give u speakers, built in native netflix, hdr support, a bigger screen and better value for money, probably better warranty too, built in usb ports for watching files off of that, multiple HDMI inputs, better upscaling chips for 1080p content to 4k, a remote, built in youtube, freesync.

It just seems to tick all of ur boxes.
