large print spec

Hi,

I have had a request to produce an image size of 1692.75mm x 562.25mm @ 300 dpi. The reason for this is that this is quarter of a banner.

Doing the maths, that's a image size of 19993px x 6641px

Given that the max res on my camera is 6000x4000px, is this possible?

Do I just resize the image in PS with the enlarged dimensions?

You are going to have to stich multiple,p hotos together for that resolution. Will be easier if you rent a medium format camera.

But I would question if they really need 300dpi for a banner, seems unlikely.

The reason for this is that this is quarter of a banner.

The specs are for the original images, the banner will be four times the original size so the banner will be 75px

...

Looks like stitching is the only option.
