Looking for the biggest non flip mobile phone. Must have a large screen (i am an old git who's eyesight aint what it used to be!)

Budget £300.

I got no idea about phones these days.

Anything over 6.5" would be good for screen size. Ta

Most android phones you can adjust the size of the text and Icons etc. have you tried doing that? Or do you just want the extra screen space?

Some phones have a 'senior' mode which doesn't just make things larger but also simplifies the interface also. Xioami has this for example.

I have a hauwei mate 20x and it has the biggest oled non flip you can get 7.2" - its an old phone too by phone standards. I think mine is 4 years old and to be honest the only thing with a bigger screen are the foldables for much more money.

What about Pixel phones do they have a big screen? I have a Samsung a52s and the screen size isn't big enough. I want to move away from Samsung because of their aggressive doze.

If by doze you mean apps shutting down or sleeping, it is totally customisable on Samsung.

Pixel 8 Pro screens are a tiny bit smaller than Samsung ultra phones. So more than big enough for most people.

Yes totally meaning apps shutting down but Samsung is known for its aggressive Doze where it shuts down apps even when you have it unrestricted. The only way to stop this from happening is using adb commands and disable deep sleep.

I also want a bigger screen because I can never type without hitting the wrong buttons lol

That's strange, never had this problem. And certainly none of my pixels have been any better. You can tell Samsung phones to "keep open" if you really want it to remain in memory.

Edit: maybe the problem is that you've had the "A" line of phones and not an "S". My last three Samsung phones have had 12Gb of RAM so it isn't a problem keeping apps in memory.

I don't think it's a memory problem as the delayed notifications has always been the same, locking apps doesn't do anything,Definitely feel I want to move away from Samsung. Very reluctant to try the S series.

My main reason for getting another phone is the screen size I need something a little bigger so the keyboard is larger.
