Large size frames?

I've been looking to print a couple of my photos at a pretty large scale, 45x30 being the largest size, however frame prices seem to be my limiting factor, a lovely 24x20 photo which cost £4 to print (offer from some website) cost me over £50 to frame :eek: Is there anywhere that does cheap(ish) frames? I haven't found anywhere that does above 20x16 which means I have to get custom frames made, and while they do look better than the cheapo ones, not to the extent that I'd prefer to pay the massive amount extra for them. I'm more than happy with borderless clip frames which seem to be the cheapest, but again haven't found one in a size larger than 20x16 that's also print friendly (Wilkinson do a 39x27 inch frame, but that's such a useless size...), does anyone know any websites that do frames to fit my needs?
 
Can you not buy the frame from a framing shop and DIY?

Just a bit of softwood on the back and bingo.

Theres a framers near us, wood is dirt cheap yet her services certainly draw a premium
 
That's what I did last time. There are only 2 places which do frames around here, and they both know they can charge extortionate prices as there is next to no competition :(
 
Our frame supplier wouldn't be anywhere near that amount for that size frame. Only problem is that he is in stoke-on-trent. Is that too far or are you ever this way?
