larger and been bloated

I get this really badly and have put it down to talking and drinking at the same time. :confused: I get it so bad that it spoils most nights out. :( I dont remember it being so bad in the old days when I used to drink vodka + mixers. :)
 
Problem is, if i keep drinking a few bottles/pints of larger, get bored and go onto smirnoff ice or something, then i end up throwing up because i mixed:(
 
What is it with all this beck's, I personally think it tastes vile. Tis really 'hoppy' taste to it.

Corona, barahma's are good lagers I find.

ATM I'm drinking a new lager I saw in tesco, its called Singha(6%), from Thailand, its not particually nice tbh. But going out for my birthday curry tonight so lots of Cobra's (weeeheyyy!!), then when we get home we got a few Peroni's to go through which I find very easy to drink.

But when I'm not drinking beer/lager its got to be whisky for me.

Coors and Becks blow chunks. Tisk, barely a mention of anything decent in this thread.

If anyone lives near Southampton get yourself into Bitter Virtue on cambridge road and have a look through their belgian/french/german/czech (continental I suppose) section - some wonderful beers of all sorts amongst that.

I guess the real problem is finding somewhere that does decent stuff during a night out!

ahahah :p im going to halifax tonight, will be in town two weeks on wednesday (11th oct) , student night :cool:
 
I start on the double vodkas, lime and lemonade after a couple of pints of lager. My reason is so that I only pee as much as a normal person does rather than your feeling bloated problem. I don't know anyone who dislikes this drink.
 
Grolsch is normally a fairly safe choice for pints and tastes pretty decent, other than that bottled beers such as Tiger, Cobra, Peroni, Asahi or failing the above Corona are all pretty good although as mentioned if sticking only to select drinks it can get a bit expensive.

Almost any spirit(gin, vodka or whisky being the norms) and mixer are good if you want shorts but then you have to be more careful about measuring your drinks to last until your mates on pints have finished, well it is either that or have one inbetween rounds as I often do.
 
Pint glass > Double Pernod > Single Vodka > Blackcurrent > Half Strong Lager > Half Strong Cider

Shouldn't have to worry about feeling bloated after a couple of them.

Do a streetmap search for Cambridge Road. There are two, look for the one right next to the Avenue. From the Avenue head down Lodge Road and take your 2nd left, go straight over at the little crossroad and its on your right at the next corner. Its a very strange place for a beer shop but it is Heaven on earth! I heartily recommend a visit if your really into your beers.
 
i usually have 1 or 2 pints then move onto vodka and lemonade, or southern comfort and lemonade. However i soon start feeling sick after a few of them, and i end up in the same position as you. Cue shots of absinthe, job done :cool:

haha thats what i used to do, few pints of larger, few smirnoff's etc, then start the shots lol
