When i go out for a drink with friends i always drink larger, a pint of fosters/carling or something like that, but after say three pints i feel really really bloated, even if i burp/fat/pee or what ever i still feel the same and then have to move onto something like smirnof's (sorry manly people :o ) which results in me been abit sick because i always get bad if i mix drinks.

What can i drink from the start that won't make me bloated? I dont like beer, larger is nice but after a few i feel bad and cant dance etc because my stomch just churns.

I would drink smirnof's but people see that as girly :( lol

Anybody else the same?

some lager doesn't agree with some people, fosters and carling are renouned for it. fosters does the same thing to me. drink a decent lager and stick to it for an evening.

Well if you like your lager, then switch from pints too bottles. If you want too stay on pints then get a Lager Top.

I never drink lagers because even after just one i feel sick and bloated whereas a good beer goes down a plenty.

However i much prefer spirits and mixer such as vodka redbull or jd and coke.

I've heard a lot of people saying that Fosters and Carling are the rubbish lagers. If that's the case then which are the decent lagers/beers. I only ask because i'm a Fosters/Carling drinker. :p

My fav is a nice cold bottle of Bud ice, but not many places do it :(

Somebody mentioned "Vodka and coke? JD and coke?", ive actually never had one of these :O, which tastes best? Do they go straight to your heard (e.g get your abit too drunk)

I personally think of Fosters andd Carling as cooking lagers. Fosters has no taste and Carling has a bitter taste.

Good lagers for me are Kronenbourg, Coors and Becks.

magners, strongbow any cider packed with chemicls tbh

i love it , doesnt make me feel bloated like lagers do

Things like Worthington, Caffreys et al are good for non-bloating. Magners and Bulmers seem to be the same. Gassy lagers like Stella are to be avoided.

Blagh, strongbow gives the nastiest hangovers :( Avoid anything with chemicals in it like the plauge.

Caffreys and Worthingtons aren't lagers though. If I have to drink a lager I'd go for something like Kronenbourg preferably or possibly carlsberg, not anywhere near as gassy as fosters/stella/carling etc.

Kronenbourg
Truth.

Andr3w, best bet to avoid bloatedness would be to stay away from anything fizzy in large amounts.

Try having a mixer, something like vodka and orange. Should mean your drinking a bit less too.

Depends on where you're drinking.

Paulaner, Warsteiner, Juliper and Budvar are all good.

If I'm a bit full up on beer I'll usually have a Jack Daniels/Bulleit Bourbon and Ginger Ale. (can be a bit pricey again depending on where you are at the time.)

I get like that with Fosters and Carling so I usully stick to Stella first or if that ain't available i'll have Carlsberg. If im feeling rich i'll do Vodka Redbull all night.
