Hey everyone

My fiancée and I have been thoroughly enjoying Las Vegas. We have bought all the seasons available, but haven't seen any of Season 5 yet and now that it has been canned by NBC (God knows why, it's one of the best shows out there) we would like something new to watch that's similar to Las Vegas. When I say similar, I don't mean the setting, but something that's clever, funny, sexy, has good a story each episode, and has a deep character development and close-knit cast.

I have a whole bunch of shows that I watch and enjoy, but my fiancée doesn't like them as they're action based (24, The Unit, The Shield etc), so if possible try to steer away from shows like that as she isn't interested in stuff like that.

One TV show that I was thinking of is The West Wing. Another is Shark. Any other shows that I might have missed?

Las Vegas is truly awesome, very clever series with some awesome character development...

But there's nothing else like it, Shark is ok but nowhere near as good >_<

I agree with Entourage, fantastic show couldn't stop watching it since the first episode, well worth taking a look at it, great characters and can be very funny at times :)

Obviously if you haven't seen Prison Break yet then try that.

EDIT: West Wing is good but I got tired of getting lost in the plot sometimes with some of the scripts, too much politics going on, but Martin Sheen is great.

Studio 60 on Sunset Strip, one of the smartest, well written character development based series since Sports Night. Recently cancelled by NBC because american audience, so used to 40 minute "single plot per episode" series simply couldn't follow clever stories across multiple episodes. If that's not the best advert for the series, I don't know what is. ;)

I got kinda bored after 5 episodes, prolly going to give 30 Rock a go instead.

I've only watched the first 3 episodes but it's fantastic so far.

Slightly off topic but krooton do you do any dj mixing, just I ask as I have a few sets downloaded for a guy called kr00t0n :)

That would indeed be me, I just fluffed up my first registration attempt, and never got around to asking the Dons to change my name on here, I'm kr00t0n on every other forum I'm on :)
