I run an MX1000 and love it to bits and i am a hardcore FPS'er.
I switched from the MX510 which is another great mouse but chorded. Either way you cannot go wrong with either they are Superb pieces of kit.
It took me ages to switch to chordless and i kept the 510 just in case i noticed any lag. None whatsoever in any circumstances. The 510 is kept only for back up if i forget to charge my 1000 because i am clever like that.
