last 3 choices for my new htpc

i have now either bought or decided on all but 3 components of my new htpc, the choices i have left are motherboard, ssd and gfx card so i would like opinions on which i should go for out of what i was thinking about -

motherboard either -

and lastly should i keep using my trusty old radeon 2600 xt -

or should i get a radeon 4350, 4550 or similar (i'd prefer passive cooling if possible)?

Gigabyte before Asus for their considerably superior aftersales support.

The two ssds are the same device with different stickers as far as I know.

Try the current card, upgrade it if it can't cope.

I reckon you won't even need a graphics card with either card, as the Intel graphics chipset is supposed to be able to tackle 1080p.

i will be running mame as well as using it for watching bluray and hd dvd's so i would like a gfx card in it for that little extra oomph

am i right in thinking that ati's new 5 series low end cards will be coming out in the first week of february ?
