EITHER:
Seasonic S12 430W Silent ATX2.0 Power Supply
Tagan TG530-U15 530W ATX2.01 Easycon SLi Compliant Modular Silent PSU

All of this will hopefully go into a SilverStone SUGO Evolution case.

The only bits coming from the old system are monitor, keyboard, mouse & DVD drive - don't think I've missed anything out.

So, apart from any obvious problems with the spec, can anyone advise me regarding the power supply? I've got a Seasonic 430w in another system and love the fact that it's basically silent. I've considered the Tagan because it seems to be good quality/price for a bit of extra power - is the extra power necessary or will the Seasonic 430 suffice?

Many thanks in advance.

Everything will work together fine, the Ram is a bit overkill for the motherboard as it only needs PC5300 (667mhz) Ram but you could always take the Ram to a new motherboard if you want to start overclocking more and the fact that the OcUK stuff costs about the same as most PC5300 means you might as well.

The Seasonic will be absolutely fine in power terms so if you like them and don't mind the lack of modularity then go for it, the X1950pro isn't a particularly power hungry card anyway. :)

Thanks Mr. Waster - agreed on the RAM but nothing beats it for price.

Glad to hear the Seasonic will cut the mustard - saves me £20.
