''last modified'' date modify for past

Is there a way to change the ''last modified'' date bar changing my system datetime?

I needed to send this essay a week ago, I asked for 1 extra day, then forgot about it.

Today I got a mail from the prof that she can't see my mail or if I hadn't forgotten it.

I still need to finish writing it, I'd want to manipulate the ''last modified'' and creation date to 22 apr, what's the easiest way

?
Then simply say ''oops I forgot to send it''

and send it anyhow.

I don't believe so, have you changed the system date/time and checked if does what you require?

A quick google shows multiple applications that can do this, although I haven't used them myself.

Attribute Changer looks like it will do the trick, and says it works with Windows 7/8/10 so you should be covered.
