Anyone else still hanging onto their trusty 8800 GTX?
Just curious really. Me personally I'm waiting for Kepler or better price reductions in the current gen (saying that though I do change my mind on a daily basis) for a replacement.
Mine is the Leadtek Winfast version. Now, back in the day I remember this being the top gun of GPU's but sadly now it's struggling.
Gaming at 1680 x 1050 but even at that it's being pushed at times (think Batman: Arkam City and BF3).
Got to give her credit though as she is still going strong but having said that, it's never been o'clocked so not really pushed it's boundaries and have no intention of doing so.
So, who else has this card and are you keeping it just for the sake of it or like me waiting for the right time (if ever there is one) to get a worthwhile replacement?
This may sound silly but part of me doesn't want to get rid/sell/spare it as it's been a damn good card to me and it's been so reliable (please don't blow up now).
Can't see me having it for the next 6 years though . . .
